A deviant rebirth, if you will, came this winter.
I'm horrible at keeping in touch (with my friends on and off the site) but today, in procrastinating, I decided to actually RETURN comments (which used to be my favorite thing to do here) and found that while I've been on hiatus, the site's changed but the people haven't.

I'm hopeful from the new artists that I've seen here (jesus. I feel geriatric and I'm only 21 going on 22 in three weeks) are carrying the torch. And I felt connected to this COMMUNITY for the first time in... oh, about a year, since the whole political mess.

Many of my friends have moved away, but I'm hoping it's still a worthwhile endeavor to invest myself in this place.

Dhruv ~vintagespin may be making me a website. Which photos belong on it? I doubt I'll ever fully move away from DA, but it may become my pied a terre if I get my own domain.

But yeah, so it seems i'm back.
